Argegno
Argegno is located halfway between Como and Menaggio. The village was once the only access point for Val d’Intelvi, while today it has discovered a true vocation for tourism. Not only because of its location, since it is only 12 km from the Lakes motorway, but also because of the majestic panorama it offers, from the Balbianello peninsula to Bellagio, from Monte Legnone to the Grigna. The town is characterised by a very lively historical centre where in its ‘piazzetta’ there are numerous wine bars and restaurants that in summer provide a cheerful holiday atmosphere, a meeting point also for residents of other towns. The houses for sale in Argegno are mainly located on the main road to Val d’Intelvi and in the small village of Sant’Anna. Surrounding places are ideal for open-air walks or bicycle rides and many possibilities for water activities. Also worth mentioning is the Pigra funicular railway to be in the high mountains in the blink of an eye from Argegno and enjoy unique sunsets.
