Renovated rustic house in Musso, in an historic village with lake views
The rustic house is located in an historic village, about 1.5 km from the lake and the center of Musso. It has been recently renovated and is ready to move into.
It is arranged over 3 levels and comprises:
basement: a vaulted tavern and a stone cellar;
ground floor: entrance hall, kitchen, and bathroom;
an internal staircase leads to the first floor where there is a bright bedroom;
second floor attic: a large living room with a panoramic balcony, or a large bedroom;
there are also two rooms used for storage in a separate building a few meters from the house.
As the cottage is located in an ancient village, it does not have private parking, but there are municipal parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. There is no heating, but it is possible to install a pellet stove or radiators. The property is sunny from morning to evening thanks to its south-facing position.
The cottage is ideal as a second home or as a vacation home for short-term rentals. The lake view is very beautiful and in a few minutes you can reach the lake via pedestrian paths.
MUSSO
Musso extends along the western shore of Lake Como, with its old village houses and a small, characteristic gulf. Behind it rises a huge rocky spur called the Sasso di Musso. The village owes its origin to the ancient white marble quarries that were already worked and exploited in Roman times, such as for the construction of Como Cathedral and the columns of San Lorenzo in Milan. Musso is a village rich in history. It is only a few minutes’ drive from Menaggio. There are beautiful houses for sale in Musso and the property market is booming. In addition, there is the possibility of renting your property as a holiday home for short rentals.
