10 reasons to visit Lake Como

Why Lake Como is so charming and so many people decide, during their life, to visit it?
A question with numerous answers. Lake Como, a misterious shelter for nobles in the last century, become an international world-known symbol. Why?
- For sure the shape is of unique originality and in the tradition assimilated with the picture of a man with the feet, one in Como and one in Lecco. A charming shape, stretched with its journey with the beautiful Bellagio in the center, watershed between the two banks. The mountains drown out, guardians of these deep waters and with thousands shades of colours.
- Another not negligible detail; who had the chance to grew up in the area does not recognize the uniqueness of the villages built in the lake bays, but it is a unique characteristic of this territory.
- A landscape that has been well described by Alessandro Manzoni in the famous “Promessi Sposi”, in the incipit everyone knows:

A paint that everyone can personally live entering the peculiar paths of the place, moving among the coloured townhouse with incredible views on the lake.

5. The luxurious hotels, destinations of celebrities wondering to experience the luxury side of the lake, with waterfront happy hour.
6. The boat tours: the lake seen from the lake is an experience which, at least once in the life, should be tried. Why? Because it changes the perspective, the point of view, open the mind and give energy and positivity.
7. The dinner at the lakeside. Not only for romantics, but for those who would like to enjoy an unique and exclusive atmosphere at the lakeside.
8. The hiking trails; some of them are of professionists, other for an extended public. The small mountains paths, the wood with astonishing views. Lake Como offers even this.
9. The position. Being a world itself, lake Como is also close by everything. Practical with the airports, with Switzerland and the highway, it has a enviable position.
10. The tradition: the people who live there, since generations and conserving through the years the traditions taught them by the ancestors in a reality so far from the chaos of the city. The small villages maintain untouched the ancient traditions.
